Registration for 2021-22
  • Students will have the opportunity to select their elective courses for the 2021-2022 school year the week of February 22nd-24th through StudentVue. 
  • Students should visit their Curriculum & Instruction eClass page to begin viewing their options.
  • Students will not be able to change elective courses so choose carefully.
  • Once Course Requests go live on Feb 22nd both students and parents will be able to see the courses that have been requested for the student through ParentVUE/StudentVUE. 

 As a reminder, teachers recommend you for your academic placement; however, students will be able to make changes to your level during the registration week. The change form will be located on our eClass page. 

Most application classes have closed, but there are still some programs (see below) that are accepting applications.

Directions will be posted on how to select your elective courses and make academic changes once registration week opens.  
2021-2022 Programs

Gifted Internship

The internship program at Peachtree Ridge is designed to help students culminate their high school journey with real-world experience. The Peachtree Ridge High School Student Internship Program is an opportunity for juniors and seniors in the gifted program to explore careers through unpaid internships. If your student is interested in applying for gifted internship, please fill out this pre-application formIf you have any questions, please email chrissie.bolt@gcpsk12.org.

Work-Based Learning

Work-Based Learning is an opportunity to jump-start your career by having time during the school day to work at a career that you are interested in and develop the tools needed for employment while earning high school credit. If you are interested in enrolling in the Work-Based Learning Program have your student go to this eCLASS page to learn more and to find the application.


Business & Technology Office Aide

Business and Technology is the second course in the Business and Technology pathway.  Students who elect to take the course will also be an Office Aide within the school.  While enrolled in the course, you will assist the clerical staff in conjunction with completing the online Business and Technology assignments. RBES Parent Survey
Due to the pandemic, GCPS is administering a contactless version of the RBES Parent Survey this year. There will be no paper or school computer option. Instead, SchoolMessenger will deliver an email invitation to families to complete a survey for each school at which they have one or more enrolled students. The confidential survey will be available in English, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese. The survey can only be accessed using the link and unique code provided in the SchoolMessenger email. The RBES Parent Survey will be available from February 8 through February 26. Your participation helps us to continuously improve our school. Thank you in advance for making your voice heard!

A Student's most up to date transcripts can be found in ParentVUE and StudentVUE under documents. If any changes have been made, it will show as an amended transcript.

Open House - February 11
Our Open House will be virtual for students wishing to learn more about our programs. It is scheduled for February 11, 2021, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Students may attend the Zoom session for any program(s) they have an interest in.


Registration
Registration opens on January 11, 2021, and continues through the end of the semester. Students apply using the "Maxwell/Grayson Tech Registration" link under Additional Resources on the Student Portal.

 During Digital Learning, athletics will continue, only parents and GHSA pass holders will be allowed in events.
Golf Informational Meeting
Has your student, like thousands of Americans, picked up an interest in Golf during the COVID-19 crisis? Are they interested in playing golf for the PRHS team this year? Golf tryouts are coming up!

Please attend our virtual interest meeting for more information about tryouts on February 1 at 2:30 via zoom. The zoom link will be posted on the PRHS Golf Website on February 1st. Please contact Coach McAuliffe or Coach MJ Young with any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
Soccer Season Begins
Varsity Soccer Scrimmages this Friday 1/29 AWAY at Johns Creek HS (Girls at 6pm/Boys at 8pm). First HOME games next Tuesday 2/2 vs Parkview HS (Girls at 5:30/Boys at 7:30pm). Purchase tickets on GOFAN (see button above).
Varsity Blue Pride 
Congratulations Varsity Blue Pride for placing 2nd at the PRHS invitational this past Saturday. JV also placed second as they wrapped another exciting season. Please congratulate Alaina LaRosa (Senior) for being our Athlete of the Week! She did an amazing job and helped our team push through a tough week.

Please come join us on Feb. 6th for our state qualifier here at PRHS. The competition starts at 11:00 am. Your seven-time defending champs will compete at 11:25 am. Thank you for the support!

Area 2 PTA will be awarding $750 scholarships to one deserving high school senior in each of our 8 high schools. All seniors from any of the school clusters in our Council are encouraged to apply. Deadline: Postmarked by March 6, 2021
