The Photography Atelier 31 exhibiton features the photographs by Kathleen DeCarlo-Plano, Gabriel Garay, Cynthia Johnston, Sheryl Kalis, William Morse, Maeda Naohiro, Fern Nesson, Anne Piessens, Darrell Roak, Tony Schwartz and Jeanne Widmer.

For the 10th Annual Self-Published Photobook Exhibition, jurors Karen Davis and Paula Tognarelli chose  30 Photobooks   to be exhibited at the Griffin Museum.

Not Waving But Drowning  is a look inside an Evangelical marriage. These images show the truth of a life lived in the confines of oppressive gender roles, cult-like manipulation, and the isolation of Fundamentalism.

This live interactive online course, with Karen Davis, will provide you with guidance in a supportive environment as you develop your fine art photography portfolio and create essential documents and materials to prepare you to market and exhibit your work.

In this six hour workshop participants will develop their ideal collector avatar, learn where to find art collectors and generate a list of possible events that you can attend in the next three months to meet more art collectors.

O NLINE EXHIBITIONS
The  Buy a Brick Program is back at the Griffin due to popular demand by our audience .

Once we have accumulated enough orders we will process a bulk order of engraved bricks to be placed into the Griffin's walkway that leads to the  Winchester Rotary Terrace . There's plenty of room and we welcome your tribute inscriptions. 
  • Photographer, Sunjoo Lee gives $2,500 for the Griffin's educational scholarships. To date now four scholarships have been awarded for education classes.


  • Mary Virginia Swanson is coming to the Griffin in early April on the 6th to give a talk on preparing for portfolio reviews. She will also meet privately with our Photography Atelier Student group and critique with me at the membership group review critique on April 7, 2020.

  • Alexa Dilworth will jury the Griffin's 26th Juried Exhibition. Call for entry coming soon. Alexa and Aline Smithson will be at the opening reception on July 18th and hold a workshop/program on July 19th. More to come on that.

  • Crista Dix has accepted the Associate Director position at the Griffin Museum and will arrive in Winchester in late February. She's driving across country. We have a Meet and Greet Crista event on March 15th.

  • We have just hired our new part-time facility rental monitor. Welcome Dole Galvin to the Griffin.

  • Errin Mahoney, a candidate for her Masters in Arts Administration at Boston University, begins an internship at the Griffin Museum on the third week in February.

  • Elizabeth Dourian, a photography major at Endicott College, will intern at the Griffin this coming summer.

  • Our Celebrate the Griffin Gala is April 3, 2020

  • We've formed an Exhibition Installation Committee. Our first members of this committee are Diane Bennett, Susan D'Arcy Fuller and Sally Chapman. Iaritza Menjivar has asked to be included on this committee too. This committee will be involved with the exhibition process as much as they wish to be. Are you interested?
