MARCH 31, 2021
Highlights of the week:
- Tomica Fontelroy-Linzer Drive-Thru Send-Off Celebration, for her 21 years of service at WUES!
- 2021-2022 PTO Executive Board Election
|
|
Hopefully, everyone was able to enjoy the three-day weekend!
Just to clarify, the information sent out about registration last week is only for families who are not currently enrolled. Current students do not need to re-register. For students who are currently attending WUES, we will send out a “See you in August” form in the next few weeks to help us accurately project how many teachers we will need in each grade level.
Good luck to all the 4th graders who are taking the Writing STAAR exam next Tuesday, April 6th. They have been working hard to hone their writing skills and we know they will do great.
No school on Friday – enjoy another three-day weekend!

Hope everyone is having a nice week!
A HUGE thank you and a BIG hug to Tomica Fontelroy-Linzer from the PTO. From being the friendly and welcoming presence at the front office to dressing up as a sandwich for SBoC, Tomica has always gone above and beyond to support our school. We will greatly miss her, but we wish her the best on her next adventure!
Please mark your calendar for our next general PTO meeting on April 13th. During this meeting we will vote to approve the proposed 2021-2022 PTO Executive Board. It is a great group of parents who will help run the PTO next year. In addition, Dish Society will be doing a spirit night with us on the 13th. Check back next week for all the details.
Enjoy your long weekend. Happy Easter and Passover!
