mercyWorks of Mercy Opportunities

Please keep those journal entries coming!

Living out the works of mercy is the best preparation for a using the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in your day-to-day life. Maybe there is one Work of Mercy that you wish to make into a habit as we keep the season of Lent.

  • Confirmation is March 15.  We need about eight seventh graders (and some parents) to help set up and clean up the Confirmation reception.  We also need your help as ushers during the ceremony. This would be from about 2:00 PM to about 4:30 PM.

Your work this year will be repaid by next year's seventh graders helping to make your celebration smooth and prayerful!

  • There will be a Fish Fry at St. Emily on April 3 to benefit the Religious Education program. There are lots of fun ways to be of service.  Check it out here.

  • It is a lot of work to set up the church for Holy Week and Easter.  You are welcome to help the Liturgy Committee.  Sign up here.

  • We would love to have you volunteer at Vacation Bible School.  It is great fun and a good leadership opportunity.  You can register to volunteer here.

"We are also looking for any hidden talents such as singing, playing a musical instrument, etc. We are open to any suggestions you might have as well."
