Hello Families,
Together, we successfully made it to the last day of March! April is sure to be a busy month in LGUSD. As you know from Superintendent Johnson’s email, we remain laser focused on supporting students and adhering to the following:
Minimizing the number of changes and disruptions in schedules.
Increasing the amount of in-person instruction across the district through a number of strategies, including the possibility of combining cohorts.
Keeping our students engaged and connected to school, classmates, and teachers is our priority. There is a special board meeting tomorrow, Thursday, April 1st at 4:00 P.M. An update to the community will be provided on Friday afternoon and an email will be sent to every family regarding On-Ramp #2 information. Please continue to read all email correspondence carefully as our timelines are important. I have rescheduled the Principal Chat to Friday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. to answer any questions.
With Spring Break next week, may you enjoy this gorgeous California weather safely with your family. I look forward to welcoming students back to campus on Monday, April 12.
