Spring MAP Information
Spring MAP Dates: April 21st - May 10th

To prepare for testing day:
  1. Make sure that your child is well rested on school days and especially the day of a test. Children who are tired are less able to pay attention in class or handle the demands of a test.
  2. Give your child a well-rounded diet. A healthy body leads to a healthy, active mind.
  3. Remind your child that they need to bring a good book to read in the testing room once they've completed their MAP test.
  4. Avoid any unnecessary absences from school during the MAP testing period.

Classroom Placement - Parent Input
Teachers will begin developing the class lists for the next school year. A great deal of time and thought is put into creating the class lists, and our focus is always on every student’s advantage to be part of a well-balanced classroom. A balanced classroom has students with various academic abilities, an equal ratio of boys and girls, and takes students special needs into consideration. When placing students in classrooms, teachers also take into consideration any conflicts of personalities between students, what type of atmosphere students learn best and ultimately what is in the best interest of all of our students and staff at Notre Dame.

Parent input is accepted in the process of assigning students to classrooms. If you wish to provide input, the deadline to do so is Friday, April 29th. Teachers will then finalize the class lists, and they will be confidential until they are posted right before school starts.
At least one of the 3 categories must be filled in for consideration.

SCRIP News
Dear Notre Dame of De Pere Families,

The year end for earning SCRIP rebates for this school year is quickly approaching.

Year end SCRIP rebate earning deadline is Monday, April 25th

Per 2021-2022 school handbook SCRIP is our fundraising gift card program. Families in K-8th are required to earn a minimum of $250 in rebates; no minimum for early childhood-only families. Thereafter, 80% of the rebates earned go toward your family tuition, with the remaining 20% in rebates earned going to Notre Dame of De Pere.

Note: If you participate in the program and do not generate the minimum $250 in rebates, you will be responsible for the difference between what your purchases generate and $250. If you choose not to participate in SCRIP and select “buyout” your $250 payment is due in full. Please send payment to Notre Dame of De Pere School. Attention: Scrip Buyout, 137 South Superior St, De Pere, WI, 54115. If you have any questions please email [email protected]

Checking Family Scrip Profits - It’s Easy!
1. Go to www.shopwithscrip.com and sign-in.
2. Click on Dashboard.
3. Scroll down and select “Order History” under Family Functions.
4. View Account Activity for Program Year. This is the total profit generated from your scrip shopping. If another party is purchasing in your name those profits will not be reflected until year end reports. Our Scrip program year runs approximately 5/1 -4/30.  (This school years purchasing dates were 4/27/21-1/3/22 and 1/4/22-4/25/22).
5. Remember, the first $250 of rebate/profit remains with Notre Dame. Profit is earned from scrip percentages, not card value. Further rebate/profit is then split, 20% going to Notre Dame and 80% applied toward the family’s student tuition.
 6. Scrip program rebates/profits are distributed twice per year. (January and June)
EXAMPLE: If your total profit is $500
$500 - $250 = $250
$250 x 80% = $200 Family rebate/profit towards tuition

All purchases after this date/time will be applied towards the 2022/2023 school year requirement

Thank you again for supporting Notre Dame Scrip!!!

ONLINE scrip orders will be submitted
Monday, April 25th at 8:00am.
