COG Celebrations
Chefs of Grace Soup Social
On February 23rd, the Chefs of Grace hosted their annual Soup Social. The social brought in around 120 COG members, families, and friends. The chefs cooked up several different soups and the congregation brought in a variety of breads and desserts. The evening also included trivia and an indoor scavenger hunt. The grand prize winner for the scavenger hunt was Danica Brecht!

Thank you, Chefs of Grace, for organizing and hosting a great event. Thank you to everyone who brought breads and desserts to make the meal even better.
COG Spotlight
Women's Conference

Last Saturday morning, about 25 ladies attended the "Digging Deeper: Practical Ways to Study God's Word" Women's Conference. Catherine Bundick was the featured presenter. She provided resources and tips to improve our daily study of the Bible. Besides discussion activities, ladies participated in a fun "escape box" activity with prizes afterwards! After lunch, there were 5 choices of breakout topics and ladies selected two sessions to attend. Breakout session presenters included Anna King, Nancy Carroll, Lora Sinkey, Mitty Spidell, and Judy Cale. The Women's Ministry team wishes to thank all the presenters for taking their valuable time to present such interesting and informative sessions with practical ideas we can apply in our daily lives!

Looking Ahead
I've got a March challenge for all of us that's about being intentionally bold for Jesus. In the book of Acts, Luke writes:

"Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness."
Acts 4:29

In the month of March, do one or more of the listed challenges. Unless we are intentional about our walk, we may find that we never take a step forward. I would love to hear your stories of how you accomplish one or more of the above challenges. Share your experiences with me in person or send me an email on how your March challenge goes.
