Bilingualism Webinar This Thursday
Join us for a very special opportunity to hear Dr. Ellen Bialystok discuss her lifelong work studying the effects of bilingualism on the brain. Ms. Bialystok is responsible for some of the most exciting discoveries in this field, including the identification of differences in the development of essential cognitive and language abilities for bilingual children, the use of different brain networks by monolingual and bilingual young adults, and the postponement of symptoms of dementia in bilingual older adults. For anyone interested in bilingual education, neuroscience, or linguistics, you shouldn't miss this talk.

Class of 2020 Reunion Fun
In early December, 23 FASPS Class of 2020 alums attended a virtual class reunion along with seven faculty members. The group played “Two Truths and a Lie” and shared their experiences transitioning to high school. The event was scheduled to last one hour, but several stayed for three hours and continued connecting through the chat the next day!
Save the Date: FASPS’s 2021 Virtual Gala & Auction Is on April 17!
Join the FASPS community as we gather virtually on April 17 at our annual Gala and Auction! Although we will not be together in-person this year, it will still be a special evening celebrating our resilience and strength during this school year. The event will showcase our extraordinary FASPS families and our talented and resourceful faculty and staff through compelling videos and engaging speakers. We would be thrilled to see lots of alumni in attendance!
Seeking Youth Volunteers for 2021
Summer Programs
In high school and looking to get some volunteer experience and keep up with your French? Come be a part of FASPS's fun-filled Summer Programs! This year we are planning to offer something for everyone: Les Lucioles (in person) for preschool students, Camp d'été (in person) for elementary-aged students, Classe Aventure (in person) for middle schoolers, and Les Navigateurs (virtual) for elementary and middle schoolers. Youth volunteers are an integral part of our Summer Programs and come away with valuable experience in leadership, mentorship, community building, and social-emotional learning.

Ugly/Festive Sweater Party
A big thank you to Pamela and Maryse for co-hosting a joyful holiday virtual gathering for alumni parents in December. Seventeen people attended, and the theme provided a lighthearted backdrop to a meaningful gathering!

FASPS Business & Professional Directory

If you would like to offer your services, please fill out and submit this form. Inclusion in the directory is 100% voluntary. In addition to business and professional listings, community members who have home businesses or who would like to have just their names included are welcome to participate.
