Equipping farmers to build resilient farms and communities.
*Farm retirement workshops moved online*
All,

In our latest edition of our quarterly Farm Transfer Newsletter, we included some information about a series of "Understanding Farm Retirement" workshops this spring. Unfortunately, as you might have already seen, due to the spread of novel coronavirus/COVID-19, Practical Farmers is rethinking all events over the next several weeks. You can read this message from PFI executive director Sally Worley to learn more about how we plan to confront the growing impacts from novel coronavirus together.

Bottom line, the "Understanding Farm Retirement" workshops have been moved online, with in-person workshops to be held on a date TBD, likely later in the summer or even this fall.

Two online webinars are scheduled for April 1 and April 9 at 10 a.m. in place of the in-person workshops. The webinars will still feature financial planners from Syverson Strege and will include ample opportunities to ask questions. Unfortunately, it's difficult to provide virtual coffee and donuts, but feel free to bring your own snacks while you listen in.

More information about the online webinars can be found here. Links to sign on to the webinars are also below.

Stay healthy and safe, and please feel free to reach out directly via my cell (641-521-7142) or by email if there are any questions or concerns.

Best,
Jorgen
