celebrates 25th anniversary

Western University of Health Sciences’ College of Graduate Nursing (CGN) celebrated 25 years of innovation and trailblazing in nursing education while looking ahead to even greater success to come.
CGN held a celebration May 10, 2022 on WesternU’s Pomona campus. The event brought together CGN leaders past and present, WesternU and community dignitaries, and students, faculty and staff.

The first of six WesternU Commencement ceremonies begins on Wednesday, May 18. WesternU President Robin-Farias-Eisner, MD, PhD, MBA, will preside over Commencement for the first time, and he will provide the keynote address for many of the ceremonies as well.

Recently, a multi-million euro European Research Council grant was awarded to the project PI, Dr. Faysal Bibi, to continue the work as the PALEONILE project for five additional years during which Dr. Kraatz will remain a core team member.

SoCalGas donated 20,000 masks to WesternU through a partnership built between SoCalGas Public Affairs Manager Lanae O'Shields and Patricia Lozano, MBA, Director of Operations & Outreach for WesternU's Office of Community & Governmental Affairs.
