Splash it Up with Paws Up

Splash Paws for Instagram.png

If dogs could have a pool party, Splash Paws would be it. On Saturday, June 4 at 9 a.m. Sneed Dog Park becomes a water play haven. There will be water toys, a misting feature, tricks contest and giveaways to keep canines cool. "Westchase District is home to many dog lovers," said Kelly McNabb Aylesworth, Westchase District's maintenance director. "We opened Sneed Dog Park in 2021 and continue to regularly host events there so that the community knows the park can be enjoyed year-round." Sneed Dog Park is located by the Sneed Elementary School playground 9855 Pagewood Lane. Splash Paws is free and open to the public.

Remy on the Trails Goes Vertical

REMY_Rendering_02.jpg

While the exterior construction of Remy on the Trails is taking shape, this rendering shows the planned expansive common areas that will be one of the property's many distinguishing features.

Motorists along the West Sam Houston Tollway can see the construction progress of Remy on the Trails, a 330-unit multifamily community being developed by McNair Interests. The community will feature one- and two-bedroom apartment homes around a three-acre lake. Residents will enjoy private walking trails and an emphasis on outdoor living and recreation. Remy on the Trails will feature three separate courtyards, a pool deck with outdoor kitchen and cabanas, and multiple access points to the Terry Hershey hike and bike trail. Construction is more than 50% complete. Preleasing will begin this September and the community will welcome its first residents in the fall. The community is located at 10421 Deerwood Drive, at the Beltway 8 frontage road. For a sneak peak, visit remyonthetrails.com.
