National Award for Service Learning Initiatives

Electric Utility Technology Information Session
Learn about how to become a line worker or substation electrician in the electric utility industry by attending an information session for the Power Systems Institute program offered by Jersey Central Power & Light, in partnership with RVCC, February 13, 6-8 p.m., in the College's Event Center (Rooms A & B). Tuition, required books and lab fees will be paid by JCP&L for qualified students.

Disability Support Services Session
Prospective students, parents and guardians, and high school educators and administrators are invited to attend "Transition to College," March 12, 9-11 a.m., in RVCC's Event Center. The program will offer information about disability support services and other assistance available to students as they transition from high school to RVCC.
The program will include a student panel and workshops about RVCC's Disability Services department, wellness and financial aid.

Teaming up with Midland School
Members of RVCC's Men's and Women's Basketball teams participated in their annual basketball clinic and game at the Midland School on January 15. For the sixth year in a row, the teams developed a basketball clinic that helped the Midland students practice their skills.
After the clinic, the athletes participated in a friendly game where the students were able to highlight their new skills.

Welcome, international students! This semester, 15 new international students representing 10 different countries have enrolled at RVCC. The students are assisted by Elizabeth Sullivan, RVCC Coordinator of International and Veteran Services.

Members of the community are invited to participate in the fourth annual RVCC Giving Day on March 19. The 24-hour online event will raise funds for scholarships, educational programs and more at RVCC.
