Physician Meet and Greet Event at Breckenridge Brewery
Saturday, June 4th, physician members from ADEMS, DMS, and AACMS brought their friends and families out to help kick off summer and enjoy a sun-filled day at Breckenridge Brewery’s Littleton campus.
Approximately 50 attendees enjoyed a variety of beers on tap, sliders, and a special behind-the-scenes tour of brewery operations.

We appreciate everyone that was able to attend. Stay tuned for further networking event opportunities in the months ahead.

Are you interested in interviewing local candidates in primaries and/or general elections?
ADEMS is in the process of hosting candidate interviews with our physicians for the 2022 open legislative seats in ADEMS catchment area. As you may know, the COMPAC Board coordinates with ADEMS on the scheduling of these interviews and offers us a great opportunity for our area physicians and legislative candidates to meet and discuss priority healthcare issues. COMPAC provides a candidate handbook containing information and interview questions on the issues, as well as helps ADEMS host candidate interviews for the primaries and again for the general election for open legislative seats in districts within our catchment area. ADEMS is seeking an additional 3-6 physicians interested in participating in these interviews via Zoom. If you are interested, Zoom meetings are being scheduled in the evenings now through mid-May and then start up again in August for the general election. Please email Andrea Chase at ADEMSstaff@gmail.com for further details and information. Thank you!
Fentanyl Questionnaire for Healthcare Providers from the Colorado Consortium Group

We need your help! The Colorado Consortium’s Provider Education Work Group is looking for feedback on current issues in fentanyl treatment and has a provider survey that they would like to disseminate widely. This survey should take no more than 5 minutes of your time, and will give us valuable information on the current state of fentanyl use and treatment in provider practices around Colorado. The Consortium would very much appreciate if you could also forward this survey to any other prescribers in your practice.  For more information on this survey or how this data will be used, please contact Susanna.Cooper@CUAnschutz.edu.
COVID-19 Therapeutics - Essential info from CDPHE
Ordering Therapeutics:
Providers who are interested in ordering COVID-19 therapeutics can request an account using this form. Once enrolled, there are utilization reporting requirements at the state and federal levels. For questions about the COVID-19 therapeutics program, please contact: cdphe_dcphr_covidtherapeutics@state.co.us.
Requests for therapeutics are due weekly on Monday by midnight MT.

Therapeutics Distribution:
The FDA authorized several treatments for emergency use. Colorado’s supply of therapeutics, including monoclonal antibody treatments and antivirals, is determined at the federal level. At this time, Colorado receives distributions of bebtelovimab, Evusheld, Paxlovid, and Lagevrio (molnupiravir).
As of April 25, 2022, the distribution process for COVID-19 therapeutics to state and territorial health departments transitioned from the previous allocation process to one that more closely aligns with the distribution and ordering process for vaccines. This process, known as the threshold and replenishment method, offers sites identified by state and territorial health departments the ability to order COVID therapeutic products seven days a week instead of on a single day each week. The federal government will track the amount of COVID-19 therapeutic products ordered by sites each week.
More detailed information about outpatient COVID-19 therapeutics for health care providers can be found at CDPHE.
