POSTPONED - 14th Annual Legal Food Frenzy

Legal Food Frenzy Friends,

On behalf of the Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, Virginia Federation of Food Banks, and the Attorney General's Office, we are reaching out to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year's Legal Food Frenzy scheduled for April 20-May 1, 2020. While the need for food and funds across our state has never been greater, due to the current state of uncertainty and the Governor's directive to stay home, we do not feel it is the best time for our legal offices and law schools to run a state-wide competition.

In the meantime, Virginia's food banks are working hard to put in place new policies and protocols to deal with this unprecedented situation. If you are looking for ways to help and are able to make a financial donation to your local food bank at this critical time, please do so here: https://vafoodbanks.org/donate-to-virginia-foodbanks/ .

We are planning to host this year's competition in the fall, and we will let you know as soon as we determine the new date. We look forward to your support then, and we thank you for your support over the last thirteen years. Because of your dedication and commitment, we have raised over 18 million pounds of food through the Legal Food Frenzy competition.

Thank you again for your support, understanding, and patience during these times. As a community, we will make it through this together and come out stronger on the other side.

Stay safe and well,
