6 Steps to Prevent COVID-19

We've All Heard the Safety Messages  During this health crisis, we all can play a part in slowing down the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. This includes observing the Stay at Home order and not gathering in groups. Please review prevention steps provided by the Centers for Disease Control by clicking on the accompanying video. 

If You Are Feeling Ill/Think You May Have COVID-19 Do not seek out a testing facility, or go directly to a doctor or hospital. First, call your primary care physician to receive medical guidance . Stay at home unless you are directed to a medical facility for testing. While at home, practice safe social distancing from family members, and wear a mask if you have one. Do not host gatherings, go shopping or interact in public. 

Services Provided by Village Staff While Facilities Are Closed  Only emergency/essential inspections are being conducted at this time. If you have an emergency, dial 911 . 

Virtual Town Hall Meeting Tonight A virtual Town Hall meeting will take place tonight from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., broadcast via Facebook live on the Village's Facebook page.  Please submit question(s) by 5:00 p.m. today at this link . You can also submit question(s) via the comments section during this Facebook live event. If you do not have a Facebook page, you are still able to view this virtual meeting by visiting the Village of Buffalo Grove Facebook page.

Special Village Board Meeting Tonight The Village Board will host an electronic meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. The Board will be discussing the continuation of the Village President's emergency declaration. Members of the public can participate electronically. To listen to the meeting, call  415-655-0060 and use the access code  786-424-109 . To watch the meeting, click here  and follow the prompts.
