Start Your Week with Crossroads
January 11, 2021
Crossroads provides resources to support your spiritual growth throughout the week and offers you opportunities to connect to a warm, welcoming, and affirming community.
Feel free to share any of the resources with family and friends!
Your Gifts Light Up the World
We are wrapping up our annual Christmas Offering campaign. This year's goal is $225,000 and to date we have received $126,629. We need you more than ever.

During this season of giving each of us has the opportunity to reflect on God’s many gifts to us and consider how we might give a gift in return. Each of these gifts, no matter the size, will have a tangible impact. We each offer what we can and none of our work would be possible without your support. Giving to the Christmas Offering helps Crossroads' missions and ministries continue to flourish. Thank you.

We pray that the light of Christ will burn brightly in your hearts and homes throughout the new year.
Four easy ways you can give in response to the incredible gifts God has shared with us: visit our website, use the GOTGo app, text Crossroadsgive to 73256, or mail your offering to the church.

Together we can reach this goal!
Baptism-Membership Information Meeting
Sunday, January 24, 7pm via Zoom
Join Pastor Larry Thompson and learn more about the Sacrament of Baptism and what it means to be a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. Pastor Larry will provide information about both Baptism and Membership within the United Methodist Church.

Baptism is available to people of all ages. It is not something we simply do with children as a rite of passage. For an adult it can be a time of deep meaning and spiritual transformation as you take an intentional next step on your journey of faith. The intent of the Zoom gathering is to provide information which will aid you in deciding how you’d like to move forward. If you are already baptized and are a member and would like a refresher course on the subjects, you are welcome as well.

Please register here to receive the Zoom link to participate in the information meeting.

Please register here if you know you or your child wants to be baptized and want to participate in the Baptism Workshop via Zoom on January 30th from 9am-noon.
Current Series: Follow Me
What does it really mean to follow in the ways of Jesus? Yesterday we began a six week series in which we will look more closely at the life and teachings of Jesus, examining the values of humility and service. This winter season is a great time to grow deeper in our faith as we come to a greater understanding of what Jesus meant when he invited others to follow him.

If you missed yesterday's service, you can watch it here.

Small Group Reflection Guide
We designed a special small group reflection guide for Sunday's message. If you are not part of a small group, you can share these reflections with a friend, do them as a couple, or as a family with older children and teens. Or you can spend time going through the reflections by yourself.

To get connected to a small group, email Deborah Michel.
