The 80th Catholic Appeal,“Time to Gather, Time to Heal, Time to Love,” has closed with results representing the annual campaign’s best year since 2017. More than 18,000 individual donors contributed $4.6 million in gifts and pledges to sustain the Appeal’s longstanding mission of serving those in greatest need. Thanks to this boost in participation among our parishioners and friends, the Appeal surpassed its $4 million goal by an outstanding 15 percent. Supporting and Celebrating Youth in the Diocese of Fall River
This summer was a busy one for supporting and celebrating young people in the Diocese of Fall River. Three August events raised awareness and funds for education and faith formation. The Summer Galafor the Foundation to Advance Catholic Education (FACE) in early August was followed by a TEAM of FACE runners completing in the Falmouth Road Race Numbers for Non-Profits-raising a total of almost $200,000 and counting. TEAM FACE runners included Bishop da Cunha who was also on Martha’s Vineyard where more than 250 teens and youth ministers gathered for Catholic Youth Day. In his Mass, Bishop da Cunha noted the youths’ presence and commitment to their faith “gives us hope for our Diocese and for our world.” Many thanks to all of those who have made the education and formation our Catholic youth possible!

Why I Joined the Anima Christi Legacy Society
"We are not wealthy individuals. We give what we can when we can. It’s simply that we feel our faith has been important to us over the years and would like to see it continue for generations to come. This note is being written hoping that other members of the diocese will consider doing the same, either to your parish or our diocese.”Read John's story and learn more about the Anima Christi Legacy Society.
