IMPORTANT POOL REMINDERS
The KCV pool will remain open Tuesday- Sunday throughout the month of August.

The pool IS open on Labor Day - Monday September 3, 2018.
 
After the Labor Day holiday, the KCV pool will be open the following days:
 
Friday, September 7
Saturday, September 8
Sunday, September 9
 
Friday, September 14
Saturday, September 15
Sunday, September 16
 
Friday, September, 28
Saturday, September 29
Sunday, September 30 (Final Day of the Season)
 
After September 30 th , the pool will close for the 2018 season. We look forward to seeing you when the 2019 season begins!
If you intend to get into the pool you must be dressed in proper swim attire. Examples include: Bathing suit, swim trunks or board shorts, shorts or shirts made of synthetic material such as "Lycra" or "Spandex" are also acceptable. We have had some issues this season with owners and their guests swimming in non approved swim attire. Please understand that wearing items which are not intended for pool use can cause damage to our pool filtration system which can result in costly repairs and pool closures.
Running, rough play, ball playing, pushing, wrestling or horseplay of any kind is not allowed in the pool or pool area. We have had some situations recently where the above mentioned rules are being ignored. These rules are for the safety of you and others around you. Please monitor your children at all times. Onsite personnel will issue an initial warning, if the warning is ignored you will be asked to leave the facility for the day. Habitual violators will be issued a suspension from all amenities.

As Members of the Kirby Creek Homeowners Association, all Homeowners share liability for any accident that may occur in the pool area. It is to your benefit to follow these rules so a safe swimming experience is ensured.

You will be asked to leave the facility if you are in violation of the pool rules.
Association Management will be notified and your pool privileges could be suspended.

Pool Rules

As Members of the Kirby Creek Homeowners Association, all Homeowners share liability for any accident that may occur in the pool area.  It is to your benefit to follow these rules so a safe swimming experience is ensured.
  1. Pool restricted to Residents and up to FOUR guests. Guests must be accompanied by Resident.
  2. NO person under 16 years of age allowed without adult supervision.
  3. Proper swim wear only, NO cut-offs, NO diapers of any kind allowed in pool.
  4. NO person with skin abrasions, open sores, cuts, skin disease, eye disease, nasal or ear discharge, or communicable disease allowed in pool.
  5. NO person shall alter or remove safety equipment (Ring Buoy and Shepherd’s Crook) except in a bona fide emergency. These are for emergencies only and are NOT toys. People violating this rule will be asked to leave the pool. Continued violation will result in suspension of pool privileges.
  6. NO person is allowed to play with the weir gates located inside the skimmer wells. This equipment helps the pool skim dirt from the surface of the water and keeps the pool clean. Those found removing these Gates and destroying the flotation foam will be asked to leave the pool.
  7. NO sharp objects or glass of any kind are allowed in the pool or pool area.
  8. NO pets allowed in the pool or pool area.
  9. NO running, rough play, ball playing, pushing, or wrestling in the pool or pool area.
  10. NO diving.
  11. NO profanity or obscene language allowed.
  12. NO eating, drinking, or smoking in the pool.
  13. NO barbeque grills.
  14. When the gate is locked, the pool is closed. The pool is closed on a regular maintenance schedule or for other maintenance or regulatory reasons. Stay out of the pool when it is closed. Crawling under or climbing over the fence in order to enter the pool area is considered trespassing. Trespassers will be prosecuted.
  15. Only water toys allowed in the pool area. NO skate boards, skates, roller blades, or bicycles allowed in the pool or pool area.
  16. Homeowners renting the clubhouse for a function are responsible for the actions of their guests and children at the function who use the pool. It is your responsibility to see that your guests abide by these rules.


Pool Card Information
Homeowners are allowed ONE pool card per household.

If your card has ever been suspended due to your account not being current it will remain suspended until you contact us, 972-644-3801 x-110 or Email Us - Click Here! The card stays suspended so that we can insure we are always turning cards back on for the home to which they are assigned.

If your account is past due we suspended your pool card in mid May and it will remain turned off until you bring your account current. You must call our offices in order to discuss the account further. 972-644-3801 x-110 Calls will be returned within one business day.

If you have a card that stops working you can contact on site Management and we can try and resolve. If the card proves a need for replacing you will turn in the faulty card to Onsite Pool Management and Angela in the Association Office will issue you a new one by mail free of charge.

A $30.00 replacement fee will be charged if for any reason the card is lost or stolen. Payments for replacements are to be mailed to the Association Offices. The funds must be received prior to a replacement being sent to you. Onsite personnel does not carry extra cards, they are mailed directly from our main offices.

City of Grand Prairie Current Water Restrictions
To keep the city’s water supply at a safe level and to comply with the city’s whole sale water purchase contracts, the following restrictions apply at all times:
  • No watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • No watering on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday.
  • Even numbered addresses may water on Mondays and Thursdays.
  • Odd numbered addresses may water on Tuesday and Fridays.
  • When watering, a constant stream of water should not be allowed to flow into the street drainage.
  • Watering during precipitation is prohibited. Rain sensors are required on newer watering systems.
Allowed:
  • Handheld and soaker hoses are allowed to be used any time.

August 10th - 12th
During this annual sales tax holiday you can buy most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks (sold for less than $100)  tax free  from a Texas store or from an online or catalog seller doing business in Texas. In most cases, you do not need to give the seller an exemption certificate to buy qualifying items tax free.
This year’s sales tax holiday begins Friday, Aug. 10, and goes through midnight Sunday, Aug. 12.
The sales tax exemption applies only to qualifying items you buy during the sales tax holiday. Items you buy before or after the sales tax holiday do not qualify for exemption, and there is no tax refund available.

No Trespassing
Please keep children, pets and motorized vehicles away from the edges of both ponds. The large pond is deep and the slopes are steep. If you see anyone camping or fishing near either pond, call the police. Trespassing is against the law.

Signs are posted around both ponds to reduce KCVA's liability in the case of accidental injury or drowning.
