S.H.O.C.K.
The S.H.O.C.K. program takes on a leadership role by partnering with community-based organizations, local businesses, and other youth-serving agencies to reach out to those youth considered at-risk for making poor choices in their lives.

Chronic absenteeism, continuous disruption to classroom learning, signs of experimentation with drugs and/or alcohol, as well as involvement with the gang lifestyle are considered behaviors that could lead to devastating life-long consequences.

This program is designed to:

  • Redirect negative behavior

  • Provide partnerships with law enforcement, the community, and schools

  • Increase understanding of the criminal justice system

  • Emphasize the legal consequences of violating the law
S.H.O.C.K. is a structured program that provides juveniles with incentives, team building activities, and motivates them through positive reinforcement.

If you would like to refer an at-risk juvenile, click on the link provided below.
If you're interested in having the opportunity to impact our youth in a positive way through the program, contact Deputy Veronica Cervantes at vcervantes@sacsheriff.com
