Dear FHUSD Families and Friends,
I'm sure most everyone is aware of the rapidly circulating information about the coronavirus disease or COVID-19. It is crucial that we are all informed of the essential and most recent facts about this.
At the district level we have received information and guidance from our insurance carrier and from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health and are relying on those sources for the most accurate reports.
Our insurance provider recommends that you visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for all the latest information on what you need to know and how to keep yourself and your family healthy. You can visit their website
here
.
The Maricopa County Department of Public Health has also provided us with updated information about the disease facts, preventive measures, and pending effects on school operations. See their attached letter dated 2/28/20.
At the District level, we will continue to monitor information about this situation and its impact on school attendance and operations and will do our best to keep you informed.
Regards,
Robert Allen, Ed.D.
Superintendent
