Friday News Update
March 27, 2020
Dear Chamber Family,

All of us at the Chamber hope you are well. We don't know about you, but our team is really thankful that it's Friday...though admittedly, being out of our routines has hindered us in really knowing what day it is!
We know it's been a challenging week but we hope you can take a few minutes to answer a survey from FGCU’s Regional Economic Research Institute . Your answers now will help our region in the future as the survey will be an important part of applications from our area for state and federal relief efforts following this episode.
There are webinars being offered to help you navigate the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan application process.

Monday, March 30, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
You may join the conference 10 minutes prior.

Another option to help your business is a Bridge Loan. The time is now to apply for a Bridge Loan. Additional loan committees have been formed to review the applications, facilitating a faster process. The loan committees will be meeting daily to ensure the process continues and get help to our local businesses.

And don't worry - you can always change your mind and not have your application processed, or if you draw it down and don’t use it, you can repay it anytime.
Is your team working remotely? Are you still providing your usual services? Have your hours changed? Please let us know so we can get this information loaded onto our new micro-site:

As you know, things are changing moment-by-moment, and we are doing our best to keep this site timely (ask Linda, our Director of Operations - she's been hunched over her laptop entering data all week!)
I am available this weekend should you need assistance, Colleen@FortMyers.org , 239.332.2930.

Lastly, we encourage you to stay home as much as possible this weekend, and continue to practice social distancing.

Sincerely,
