Dear Valued Clients,

Ballard Rosenberg Golper & Savitt continues to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely. We are prepared to handle all business affairs in a wholly responsible and safe manner and continue to provide services to our clients and the community at large. The safety of our employees and clients is our highest priority. We realize this health situation has already been disruptive to many businesses across the globe and wanted to share facts about what we are doing to support you.

To ensure our clients and team are supported we have taken specific steps as part of our business continuity plan. These steps include:

  • Maintaining operations in our office on a limited, as necessary, basis while at the same time moving attorneys and staff to work remotely in a thoughtful, choreographed manner. This ensures that you continue to receive excellent service and support. In this regard, we have procedures in place for all firm functions from receipt of electronic and paper mail, to handling any existing or new matters, making all necessary appearances, and responding to billing inquiries. Incoming calls to our attorney office phones will roll over to their mobile phones.

  • Conducting business via phone and video conferences to the extent that it is possible.

  • Continually educating our staff on best practices, such as disinfecting procedures, social distancing, and “Safer At Home” requirements. We have instructed that if any employees fall ill that they cease working and prioritize self-care.

  • Establishing a COVID-19 Response Team of lawyers who are assisting clients with COVID-19 virus issues. Updates are being sent out via email and can be found on our website at www.brgslaw.com.

As the situation evolves, we will keep you updated on how we are reacting in real-time. We are committed to assisting our clients in this truly unprecedented time, and we are grateful for your continued trust and confidence in Ballard Rosenberg Golper & Savitt.

If you have any questions about the matters discussed in this issue of Compliance Matters, please call your firm contact at 818-508-3700 or visit us online at  www.brgslaw.com .

Sincerely,
Richard S. Rosenberg
