 The Brooklyn Oratory Parishes
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Boniface
May 13, 2022
Congratulations to our young people in our parishes and St. Charles Boromeo who were confirmed this past weekend ! May they seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit each day as they walk forward in faith with us.
Thank You from Turkana & Haiti
On behalf of our Sister Parish in Turkana, Kenya and our friends in faith in Haiti, THANK YOU to the Oratory Community!!

Thank you to the children, youth, and families who collected coins and said prayers during Lent for people far away from Brooklyn. Thank you for also having conversations within your families about the effects of climate change on people everywhere - and for considering actions each one of us can take to minimize that impact. Thank you to the Oratory Community at large for contributing to the Lenten Loose Change collection for Turkana and Haiti. Your generosity will nurture the faith of our faraway friends who live in difficult conditions, themselves feeling sometimes severe impacts of climate change.

Though we have lived through times of difficulty ourselves, we are also blessed with many gifts. Together we have collected over $800. Thank you all so much for being willing to share with our sisters and brothers in faith.
