Let's Get Started
Suggestions to help the cause

Ciao, Hello, Howdy,

The FCTL is reaching out to share some resources that can help the cause during our current stage of response to the Covid-19 crisis. The first thing I would like to suggest is to visit the Resources for Online Delivery of Courses   site put together by our Distance Education and Instructional Design (DEID) folks. There is a link to "Online Teaching Resources" at the "Mymoreheadstate" landing page. A good place to start is this video:

8 Lessons Learned from Teaching Online

In addition to this video and the resources provided at the site, I would like to suggest you take a look at the following:

COVID-19, Transitioning to Online Learning, and Emotions: Yours and Your Students’ https://kathleenslowney.wordpress.com/2020/03/11/covid-19-transitioning-to-online-learning-and-emotions-yours-and-your-students/

Online Teaching with the most basic of tools – email

These articles provide some good information on how to approach the transition to online teaching and learning and offers some good advice. Have a read, ruminate on the material, write down some thoughts, communicate with others, make a plan and then work to make the plan happen.

As you know, I'm here to help the cause so if you need assistance, need to chat, or want to share, reach out and I will do what I can.

Buona Giornata,
Daryl
