I usually I try to add a little levity to our everyday lives. So much happens so often it seems we are in a continuum of chaos. So (as a departure) on a serious note…I’m not sure I appreciate our community here quite enough. We reach out. We are here for one another. We care. That makes us the family I talk about. I need to slow down and recognize what we do and what we are. We are that Family.

Elikan Library Inventory! Volunteers needed Sunday, May 22 and Mon, May 23

It has been 5 years since we updated our Elikan library catalog. We have received dozens of donations since then; and perhaps some books have been lost. We want to know!

MITZVAH PROJECT
Alexander Kohn has been working for some time now both volunteering, but also raising money for SAFE Pet Rescue as part of his Mitzvah Project for his Bar Mitzvah (community service project).
 
He designed these bracelets from Pura Vida and is selling them for $8 each. All proceeds go to SAFE.
