God at Work
Imagine you're on vacation with your family, enjoying some much needed rest and relaxation.  You enter your hotel room, enjoy the view for a moment, and then head out for an epic adventure.  As you depart, you notice a man entering into the room adjacent to yours.  Several hours later you return to your hotel room and notice a different man departing from that same adjacent room.  This scenario repeats several more times throughout the day.  Would a red flag surface in your mind, or would you proceed with your vacation without a second thought?

For much of the population, this scenario would not prompt a sex trafficking red flag.  It would go unnoticed, and an opportunity to save a life would be missed.  This is one of the reasons why fewer than 1% of sex traffickers are ever convicted.  However, i-5 Freedom Network ("i-5") is working to change this.  They are fighting to bring awareness to both communities and hotel owners about the tragic world of sex trafficking.

i-5's multi-faceted approach includes community awareness, corporate engagement, hospitality training, legislative advocacy and survivor empowerment.  The Barnabas Group ("TBG") has come alongside i-5, and is committed to helping with their mission to end this abhorrent trade.  We recently received the following comments from i-5's Founder & Executive Director, Brenda Wells, about the impact that TBG has had on their ministry:

"Words cannot express our deep gratitude for the time and effort spent to help us grow and learn as a ministry.  God was clearly present through the inspiration and innovation that emerged from our partnership with TBG.  Your partners' experience and wisdom has benefited our ministry greatly.

It was our honor to be the recipient of your time and expertise, and I look forward to connecting at future TBG events and workshops!"
