Happy Thanksgiving! I hope each of you stays healthy and safe during this long holiday weekend ahead. Thank you for all that you do to support our community during such trying times! Our St. Anthony community is truly a blessing to all of us.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!"
Psalm 107:1
  • Angel Tree - There are several angels left on the Angel Tree. If your family would like an Angel, students may find a time during the school day to get one off the tree, or you can call the school office and we can send one home with your child.
  • Wellness Committee - Rebecca Podbregar, one our school board members is reviewing our School Wellness Policy and looking to form a Wellness Committee that will include parents and staff members. We are looking for five committed parents to serve on the committee. Please send your name to [email protected] if you are interested or would like more information. If we receive more than five interested individuals, names will be randomly selected. The committee will begin meeting virtually AFTER Christmas.
  • HEALTH DEPARTMENT TOOLKIT: The Health Department continues to update the School Toolkit. All parents are encouraged to review these updates here (as of 11/20/20).

Tips to Have a Healthy Thanksgiving!
This week, we will celebrate Thanksgiving week and reflect on all of the blessings in our lives. Likely this celebration will take place over a shared feast with family and friends.
Trivia: Can you think of a vegetable that people often have as their holiday dessert?
Answer: Pumpkin!

Your meal can feature other great-tasting fall veggies like sweet potatoes and orange or yellow squashes. Another big component of the meal is often turkey, which is a lean meat if you don’t eat the skin! If your family/guests are hungry and the meal isn’t quite ready, cut up some fruits and veggies for them to munch on. Offering these foods when children are hungry is a great way to increase their acceptance of them. Have a happy and healthy holiday and don’t forget to add some physical activity into the long weekend!
