MEMBER UPDATE
Thursday, April 9th

Good Evening - I hope that you are doing well given our circumstances.

County and City Protoco l - I have provided you an update on the County and City protocol in place to assist with your business.

Nevada County - Brokers contacted me this morning regarding showings and whether Nevada County is maintaining their current position. As of 11:15 a.m., Nevada County officials confirmed that there are no changes in our local County ordinance with the exception of the new order regarding Self Isolation and Self Quarantine - Refer to h ttps://www.mynevadacounty.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=2879

City of Grass Valley - I sought an update with the local cities and they are following the County's and State's order. The City of Grass Valley also stated that they are not applying late fees on their water and sewer billings within the city limits to assist residents during this unique time.

Sutter Yuba Counties - They have altered their position as of yesterday to only allow showings in vacant homes. If you have clients who are wanting to write up offers on homes in our neighboring region, refer to the information below provided by SYAOR including the link and the summary of the ordinance section that pertains to our industry:

"The Sutter Yuba ordinance clarifies that service providers that enable residential transactions (including rentals, leases, and home sales), including, but not limited to, real estate agents, escrow agents, notaries, and title companies are considered essential, provided that appointments and other residential viewings must only occur virtually or, if a virtual viewing is not feasible, by appointment with no more than two visitors at a time residing within the same household or living unit and one individual showing the unit (In-person visits are not allowed when the occupant is still residing in the residence). "

Remember, protocols within counties and cities in CA are changing daily. For your own protection as well as others, please make sure you are working under the most current orders. If you hear of changes, please let us know.
