An interesting archive of five early titles in Spanish by the Cuban poet, translator, critic and scholar Eugenio Florit. 4 of 5 books inscribed to his friend and colleague, H. R. (Hoffman Reynolds) Hays, American poet, novelist, critic, playwright, translator, social anthropologist, and educator. Hays had a special interest in Spanish language writers and was the author of "12 Spanish American Poets" 1943 of which Eugenio Florit was one of the poets....

Some volunteers returned from Lake Erie reporting Lake was still open, 2,000 troops at Erie. Comments on Army reports and orders from Secretary of War to General Dearborn. 8 col. inches....

Inscribed by Atwood in blue ink on the title page "For Mary Lou - Best Wishes, from this decorative cake - Margaret Atwood 1971". with slight wear to book and small chips on top borders dust jacket not price clipped, and small mark on back cover, designed by Charles Pachter and mylar protected. DJ in very good condition otherwise. A nice copy....

Marbled endpapers. Free front endpaper was torn and detached but has been reattached. Marbled page edges. Interior pages are browned and have scattered foxing but still quite legible. Scarce to market. Overall, a very nice copy...

Group of men outside large building with a couple holding beers. Men are not identified however considered employees and management of the company. Card with bottom corer missing and tear. Photo is faded otherwise good condition. Any photo of the The Louis Bergdoll Brewing Co. seems to be quite scarce....

This 1982 Charter printed document is in an inexpensive wooden frame 25-1/2 x 19-1/2 inches. The printed document is flat size 22-7/8 x 17-1/2 inches (not examined outside of frame). There is a printed P.E. Trudeau signature and 1981 date on bottom right. The value and historical importance of this specific document however is the hand-signed signatures and one dated. The first one is located on top right right, specifically "P.E. Trudeau 1982" the same year as the signing of the Canada Act which included the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The second important hand-signature located on the top left is "Best Wishes, Jean Chrétien" (not dated). ...
