Next week is Holy Week. It is hard to believe that it is already Easter. Good Friday, March 26, is a holiday and Easter Monday, April 5, will be a remote learning day for all students. More information about Palm Sunday and Easter Services is listed below.
Please know that the safety of students and staff continues to be our top priority along with keeping the school open for on-campus instruction. We need everyone's help to do this.
If you plan to travel outside of the state of Texas during the long Easter weekend, we ask that you provide a negative PCR COVID test before returning to school. The test should be taken once you have returned to the Houston area after your travels. Minute Maid Park offers free PCR COVID testing for those who make an appointment online, results take 24-72 hours to come back. Ascent Emergency Medical Center, 2280 Holcombe in Houston, offers the PCR test with same-day results. Their phone number is 713-821-2360.
If you travel outside of the state of Texas, please send your PCR test results to Nurse Diaz before sending your student(s) to school. Nurse Diaz is available to answer any questions or concerns related to COVID. Her email address is [email protected].
