Stay tuned: More details to come for JA JobSpark 2022!
On behalf of Junior Achievement and the 10,500+ eighth graders who attended our 6th Annual JA JobSpark this past week, THANK YOU! Your participation as a volunteer made a difference in the lives of thousands of students. Because of the efforts of each of you, they learned about real-life jobs and careers, salary and educational requirements, what it’s like to work in a certain industry and most importantly… they saw a glimpse of their potential!

JA JobSpark: Snapshot of Live Experiences
Health & Life Sciences Cluster: Respiratory Therapy: Breathing Life Into Healthcare
Government, Law & Public Services Cluster: Making a Living AND an Impact!
Technology Cluster: We're All Data Scientists
Initial Student Responses
Before exiting the virtual JA JobSpark platform, students were encouraged to complete the Win A Prize Survey so we could get a quick snapshot of their experience. We are excited to share the positive data from their responses, and great to see the equal amount of interest across all 8 industry clusters. We can't wait to share more information with you as we receive it!
JA JobSpark Emoji Card
In the past, students attending JA JobSpark had a passport to help hold them accountable to visit 5 out of the 8 clusters. This year, students submitted an emoji card detailing their favorite experiences throughout the day. We are in the process of looking through these submitted cards & we look forward to sharing the student feedback with you all soon!

Volunteers Needed!
JA Career Day with JobSpark Volunteers at Sunny Heights Elementary in Warren Twp.

Share information about your career experiences, training and education background with students in grades K-4. Help students start to formulate an idea of what they want to do when they grow up. Expose impressionable minds to information about your company and skills needed to be successful in the workforce.
The time commitment is quick and impactful!

On Friday, November 5th, you will speak to 2-3 classes for approximately 10-15 minutes each. This can be a virtual volunteer experience via Zoom or an in-person experience. The volunteer time frame will be in the morning between the periods of 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Once you sign up, a JA representative will reach out with more details closer to the volunteer date. Please reach out to Sally Mann with questions. Sally@jaindy.org

More information is on the SIGN UP Link - HERE!
