CILDRC continues to monitor the ever-changing landscape that is the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are not trying to overwhelm you with more information, we want you to know that we are here for you during these trying times.

CILDRC continues contacting all current and former consumers and we appreciate those of you who took the time to participate in our assessment surveys. If you have not yet been contacted and don't feel you need to connect with CILDRC, please reply to this email and type "I AM OKAY" in the body.

Staff will also continue to be available by phone and email, managing day to day activities by appointment and remotely during our normal business hours 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. You can reach us by calling 850-595-5566 or by email info@cil-drc.org.

Do it Yourself Face Masks

There has been much information circulated about face mask shortages and how you could make your own to help protect yourself. We are featuring the mask below for it's simplicity. There is no sewing involved and you will likely have everything you need right at home:

Greater Pensacola Chamber Partners with BRACE and Hillcrest Baptist Church to Offer Continuous Drop Off Site for Medical Supply Donations
The Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce is excited to be partnering with BRACE (Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies) and Hillcrest Baptist Church to offer a continuous site for medical supply donations. Donations can be made from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday at both Hillcrest Baptist Church Campuses (800 E Nine Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32514 or 3960 Spanish Trail Road Pensacola, FL 32504). Donation sites at this location will be available at least until April 20 th , 2020.
 
“As a community partner in the greater Pensacola area, we at Hillcrest Baptist Church are proud to support and serve the hometown we love so much. Hillcrest loves Pensacola, we strive to be a useful and helpful outlet of God’s love and compassion, especially in these unusual and challenging days. We are delighted to serve as a continuous drop-off station for non-medical face masks in our community. For those wishing to make donations, well-marked receptacles will be located at both our Hillcrest campus locations—800 East Nine Mile Road and 3960 Spanish Trail.”

The Social Engagement Hours will occur each Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Please watch for updated information on how you can connect posted on our website. We will also be sending out reminder emails like these that contain the information on how you can participate.
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19.
These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
