Republic Families and Employees,

Earlier this afternoon Governor Parson ordered all Missouri schools to stay closed for the remainder of the school year. A screenshot of the announcement made on Facebook is below. While we are so sad to close our doors for the rest of the school year, we want to do our part to help continue the fight against COVID-19.

We are working now internally and also with DESE and other state and federal officials to get answers to all of the questions both you as patrons and we as a school district have as a result of this decision. As soon as we have those answers they will be shared.

We plan to continue providing remote learning opportunities for families along with free meal service and childcare for healthcare workers and emergency/first responders during this closure.

Stay Well,

Josey McPhail
Director of Communications
Republic School District
