"Unconditional Abundance" - Part I of II

Abundance means different things to different folks - an abundance of financial good, an abundance of radiant health, an abundance of friends to name a few. One definition is "plentifulness of the good things of life." The word "unconditional" is simply defined as "without conditions." Synonyms are "unreserves, unlimited, whole-hearted."

This two week series brings together five basic spiritual principles that, when practiced, help us to experience a life alive with "Unconditional Abundance." It is after all, our God-given birthright. Please join us for this illuminating journey!

“If You Only Knew, Exploring The Deep Mysteries of Spirituality”

April 10 - May 15, 2021

Our time together is drawing near! This Saturday, April 10th, we will gather together for our first class of “If You Only Knew, Exploring The Deep Mysteries Of Spirituality.” This one-hour Zoom class is a class like none I have ever shared before, filled with insights into the spiritual journey I have never taught or written about.
There is no required fee for the class. I like to let principle work, so it is available to you on a love-offering basis.

It will be an experience in which you will know that confusion is the mother of wisdom, that doubt is the precursor of faith, that darkness is often a better description of God than light, and that mystery is the most accurate name for God.
If you would like to be added to the class, please send your email address to: jimrosemergy@gmail.com

Desiderata

GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Unity's Five Basic Principles

We encourage you to explore and apply Unity teachings based on your own spiritual understanding. We believe this spiritual understanding is enhanced through reflective prayer and meditation.

The five basic ideas that make up the Unity belief system are:

  1. There is only one Presence and one Power active as the Universe and in my life, God the Good.
  2. Our essence is of God; therefore we are inherently good. This God essence was fully expressed in Jesus, the Christ.
  3. We are co-creators with God, creating reality through thoughts held in Mind.
  4. Through prayer and meditation, we align our heart-mind with God. Denials and affirmations are tools we use.
  5. Through thoughts, words, and actions, we live the Truth we know.
