UPDATE
COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in Morrisville April 9
UPDATE: Due to recent events, Eastern Carolina Medical Center will not administer the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine at the April 9 HSNC clinic. Everyone who signed up for the J&J vaccine will be offered the Pfizer vaccine instead -- at the same appointment time that was scheduled. There is no need to register again.

April 9 Vaccination Clinic at Hindu Society of NC 9:30 am to 4 pm

Eastern Carolina Medical Center is holding a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Morrisville on Friday, April 9, 2021.
The clinic will be held at the Hindu Society of North Carolina (HSNC) Temple located at 309 Aviation Parkway in Morrisville.
Pfizer First Dose Vaccinations
Between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., 2,300 doses of the first Pfizer vaccine will be administered.

Pfizer Second Dose Vaccinations
For those who have already received their first dose of Pfizer vaccine, 1,060 doses of the second Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the same time they received their first dose. No appointment is required for your second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Johnson & Johnson Vaccinations
Between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., 250 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered.

All North Carolina Adults over 16 are now eligible for Vaccination! 38.9% of the state's adult population is at least partially vaccinated against COVID-19 and 26.6% of the adult population is fully vaccinated against the virus.
North Carolina received 391,760 first doses of Covid 19 Vaccine this week up from 326,780 last week. (223,120 doses in second week of March, and 147, 575 doses second week of February).
- This week federal government sent 149,800 Johnson & Johnson doses to North Carolina, more than twice the 58,800 that arrived the last week.
- UNC Health which operates 17 Vaccination Sites Across the State, received 20,960 first doses this week, including 8900 to be given out at the Friday Center. (up from 16,000 first doses to UNC last week and 7,925 doses to Friday Center)

Walgreens will offer Covid 19 Vaccine in 300 Stores (31,200 doses) in North Carolina starting on Feb 12 as a distributor under the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program and is planning to distribute 1 million doses of the Moderna Vaccine. NCDHHS reported 2,087 new COVID-19 cases in the state, a jump of more than 700 from Wednesday's tally.
In all, 1,004 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 in North Carolina. Wednesday marked the first time since March 16 that the state's daily hospitalizations topped 1,000.
The percent of positive tests is at 5.1 percent, a significant drop from 6.7% the previous day.
31.1 of the population of the state is partially vaccinated. 21.5 percent is fully vaccinated.
