Dear All Souls,

I wanted to let you know that it was announced earlier today that I will be the candidate for the open minister position at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis, MD. Some of you may recall that this is where I completed my ministerial training before coming to All Souls. If "called" by a vote of that congregation, I will serve as a minister of co-equal standing with Rev. John Crestwell. I am excited for opportunities and challenges ahead for me.

This personal milestone also serves as a reminder that my tenure with you will soon to be ending. The social distancing required, due to the coronavirus, means that I am not getting the quality time with you, dear ones, that I had expected. Please know that you can schedule phone or zoom calls with me thru https://calendly.com/asiminister if you would like some personal time to connect. I also welcome suggestions about how to make this a mutually good goodbye, if we are not able to have those moments in a farewell party.

Know, as our All Souls President Tom Mulcahey said today in our online worship service, though we will be separate by miles and years, I will continue to hold each of you and the congregation as a whole in my heart.

In the meantime, please know that I, the staff, and leaders and members of our community are here and with you. You are not alone nor forgotten. You are beloved. If you are overwhelmed and ragged, know that you are enough. Peace and fullness will come again into your life. We are here to witness and accompany you through it all.

With love,

Rev. Anastassia Zinke
