Dear Families of Students in Grades 10-12,

We wanted to provide a couple of opportunities for your children to be vaccinated if they are 16 years of age or older. Below are several links to vaccine websites – not all in the Columbus area – but there are available appointments now.

Although we made every effort to host our own vaccination clinic, we were unable to find a supplier who could guarantee their availability. Therefore, we are asking families to continue to check all available options. In order for your children to receive the Pfizer vaccine, they must be 16 years of age or older (if children are under the age of 18, their parents or guardians must be present to provide consent). Moderna and Johnson & Johnson are only approved for those who have already turned 18.

Feel free to contact us at 614-509-2234, nurse@columbusacademy.org or by replying back to this message with any questions or concerns. We realize how frustrating this process can be since availability is changing daily, but please try to be patient and continue to check multiple sites.

Best regards,

School Nurses
