Alumni roll up their sleeves to help vaccination efforts
Ensuring that as many residents are vaccinated and the full allocation of vaccines available are administered requires a full-court press. This week Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens BComm '06, JD '11 and Windsor Regional Hospital CEO David Musyj LLB '92 showed their commitment to the effort. Both spent time on the phones booking vaccination appointments for those 80 and over.
Although they didn't introduce themselves, some astute seniors recognized them and were impressed by their dedication. Read the Windsor Star article.

Personal experience spurs documentary
The COVID-19 pandemic is devastating long-term care homes across Ontario. During the first wave in the spring of 2020, Windsor erected a field hospital at St. Clair College's Sportsplex to isolate and treat elderly patients from Heron Terrace who tested positive for the virus.

Filmmaker and director Matt Gallagher's BA'92 father became a patient there. His latest documentary Dispatches from a Field Hospital chronicles the dramatic stories of several families, including his own. Watch the TVO original documentary.
