Bryan Slone, president of the NE Chamber, presented on our post-pandemic recovery:

  • Industries that need our support, such as hospitality and tourism
  • The importance of investing in the manufacturing sector
  • The unified goal to create a competitive income and sales tax system
Jim Smith, president of Blueprint Nebraska, presented on the organization's focus over the next several months, including:

  • Pursuing a "Choose Nebraska" campaign
  • Realigning Nebraska's tax strategy
  • Creating a multi-partner manufacturing innovation center of excellence
  • Countless partnerships to affect work in priority areas such as: diversity and inclusion, public/private partnerships rejuvenating communities, rural broadband, and a pipeline of tech founders.
