As we deal with this unprecedented crisis in our country, it is important to the Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce to continue our mission of strengthening member businesses and stimulate regional prosperity.

MEMBER INFORMATION CENTER (MIC)

Did you know through the MIC in ChamberMaster / GrowthZone, members can view and edit their company information, pay Chamber invoices, interact with other members, submit postings for open jobs, advertise events and view statistical reports?

As a member, you were provided a login credential with your username and a link for a password. With this login information, you gain access to the MIC to utilize all of its benefits. If your business is interested in further training with this membership asset or need assistance posting employment opportunities on the Chamber website, contact Melissa . Forgot your username and password? No problem! Contact us by phone at 715-235-9087 or email us for your login information.
LEADERSHIP MENOMONIE - March Recap
Unfortunately due to the COVID-19, we were unable to participate in the March Government/Law educational day that was scheduled for March 26. We even tried to get a future date by trying to obtain a summer session however this crisis is too unknown to make this happen.

We want to recognize the following individuals that had dedicated time to this portion of the Leadership Menomonie program prior to the outbreak:

VIRTUAL BUSINESS AFTER HOURS April 20, 2020 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Join Jon and the Ambassador team as they host this virtual Business After Hours. There will be networking and games with prizes to win swag or gift cards to Chamber member businesses.

Would you like to Promote your Business?
If your business would like to provide any denomination gift card or swag, please reach out to Melissa. Businesses that provide an item will receive mention during the event as well as social media and in next month's newsletter.
What is Business After Hours (BAH)?
BAH is a social networking event with other professionals in the community, where you can share business information and create new contacts. Spend time with old friends and meet new ones!

What happens at a typical BAH?
You are welcomed at the front door by smiling Chamber Ambassadors who will sign you in, ask you to drop your business card in a drawing for prizes and they will offer you an opportunity to purchase tickets for the 50/50 raffle.

Once you are checked in, we invite you to enjoy networking with other professionals on a social level. Complimentary snacks and beverages are provided and many times a cash bar is available.

What is the cost for BAH?
In-person BAH are $5/ member or $7/non-member

JUNIOR CHAMBER CAREER FAIR

The Junior Chamber Career Fair was scheduled for April 16th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Menomonie High School.

Due to Covid-19 and the Stay at Home order, this event has been postponed at this time. Please stay tuned for updates on this event.

Trivia Night- A Virtual Networking Experience!

Come join us for an evening of networking and trivia. Your host, Emcee Phil, will provide the questions by playing three games of trivia. Each game will be 15 minutes. The winners will receive local chamber prizes to be used within the local economy.

Spring Cleaning with Gratitude
On April 1, Lorraine Garland and Jake Bloom from Arbor Place, Inc, presented about how we can use the events currently keeping us at home, to change the way we look at life.

If you missed the Zoom presentation, you can watch the replay here . This event was beneficial to everybody on the call and I know it will be for you also.
As a Chamber Member, we would love to host your business as you lead a virtual session for the members and community.

We have selected the four dates we would like to fill: April 15 & 29 as well as May 13 & 27. The topics could be on workforce struggles, saving during quarantine, how to workout at home, interview retail staff, technology tips, financial education and more.

Reach out to Melissa to reserve your spot and timeframe today! Upon reservation, your business will be promoted on social media and in weekly Email Blasts. Upon completion of session, the recording will be uploaded to social media and our website.
