TICKETS, TICKETS, TICKETS!

Pre-Order Tickets are ready to be picked up in the office. Just a few things before you grab the tickets:

• All accounts must be Paid In Full to pick up any tickets. If you are on auto debit we only pull your monthly tuition so there may be a balance still on your account. Below are some balances you may find on your account.
• 2022-2023 registration fee
• Accessories that were charged after costumes
• Tickets
• Private Lessons
• Snacks/Water

• Summer Camps, Classes, and Pop Ups DO NOT need to be paid. 

If you had marked on your order form that tickets may be sent home with your dancers, the dancers must still come to the office to sign for the tickets. If you did not select the option for your dancer to pick up tickets, send an email to the office to let us know you would like your dancer to grab the tickets. 

DID YOU KNOW?

That you are able to bring your dancer and watch the other shows! We encourage everyone to watch at least one other show, this is a great way to support your fellow dancers and see what they have been working on all year! 

For our younger students, we highly encourage them to come to our Pre-Teen/Teen show to see how far their dance journey at CDA can progress! For our older students, come watch our Tiny and Youth Shows and see the cutest dancers on stage. These dancers are the next generation of our CDA Family blooming!

STUDIO REMINDERS

Class Reminders:

• Dancers need to bring their proper shoes for recital to class.
• Anyone using tennis shoes for a routine -  DO NOT wear tennis shoes to the studio, we need to keep them clean and free of any debris in the sole! Dirty shoes are not good for the dance floor or other dancers.
• Please be sure to have their hair up off their face in a pony, braid, bun, etc. whatever is easy for you for class. When their hair is down the dancers tend to touch or play with it. 
• No denim or skirts. We want the dancers to move freely, so clothing examples: tank tops, shorts, leotards, leggings, tights, sports bras, etc. Are perfect for class. 

Water and Snacks:

• The weather is heating up, so we do recommend water! Dancers can buy a water from the office, or have it charged to their account. Dancers can refill their own bottle in the hallway. We will not be providing cups for water.
• We have more snacks available for purchase in the office! We know many students attend right after school, so we are trying to provide more options for a quick snack. All snacks are $1. Which can be charged to your account. 

Hallway:

• Please help us by keeping the hallway picked up. If you have trash, please put it int he proper places. If you see trash please pick it up and place in the trash. 

STAY ORGANIZED

REMINDER: If you have not signed up for text alerts for CDA from the Sentinel please do so! We have used this method for communication multiple times in the last week!

Attendance And Make Ups

PLEASE NOTE: When dancers are making up absences they will need to wear the appropriate attire for the class which they are attending.

• Reminder that students can not miss more that 4 classes between January and Show. Students can make up in another class at the same level or a similar level.

• Dancers may also take private lessons to make up their absences.

• Tech classes can also be taken as make up classes for students in Ballet, Jazz, or Tap. If you have any questions about what class your student can take to make up, the office or the teacher would be happy to help you.

Practice Makes Progress

Please help your dancer by encouraging good practicing habits outside of class. When dancers practice and know the information which was taught in class they are more excited about returning to class.

TIP: Right when your dancer comes home take a video of what they remember so they can refer back to this information later in the week.

MUSIC

ALL Recital Music has been sent out. If you did not receive your child's music, please let us know. Reminder: you can view the emails in your parent portal!

VIDEOS

Videos have been sent. Some dances have already been finished! Please use your videos at home to help your dancer!

Needing Additional Help?

If your dancer is needing some additional help with their routines, our faculty does offer private lessons. For more details stop by the office. Your private lesson can also be used as a make up class.
