J. Mark Eddy, Ph.D.

Dr. J. Mark Eddy is a senior fellow scientist and licensed psychologist, and a senior research scientist at New York University's Family Translational Research Group. He has worked for more than 25 years as a senior fellow scientist at the Oregon Social Learning Center.

During his career, he has served as the principal investigator on multiple randomized prevention trials of programs delivered within systems of care relevant to children and families.

Eddy's primary research interests include the development and prevention of child antisocial behavior and related problem behaviors; the development of preventive interventions for incarcerated parents, their children and their children's caregivers; early childhood education and intervention; and more.

He is committed to finding ways to link the research community with practitioners and policymakers to improve outcomes for children, adolescents, adults and families.
