Are Doing and Saying About the Coronavirus

The  San Francisco Interfaith Council (SFIC) thanks its constituent religious institutions that have heeded the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) guidelines of the San Francisco Department of Public Health and cancelled non-essential gatherings, discouraged elderly and symptomatic congregants from attending worship, instituted aggressive social distancing and sanitization practices and are offering spiritual care to their faithful through their pastoral interactions, sermons and social media platforms. 

In addition to disseminating official press releases and measures recommended by the City and County of San Francisco and its respective Departments, the SFIC has compiled the following communications sent by communities of faith to their faithful:
