Dear Sponsors and Ticket holders,

Like many citizens locally and globally, we have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus and paying specific attention to the CDC and the WHO guidelines. While mass gatherings are not banned at this time, after much consideration and many conversations over the past 24 hours, our Executive Committee and event chair have made the difficult decision to cancel A Night in the Big Apple.

We are extremely disappointed, however we feel that the risk is too great to continue with the event, which was scheduled to host over 230 people.

We understand this news may be disappointing and may even cause an inconvenience to you, but we hope you understand our concern for the health and safety of you and all of our event attendees.

In light of this news, the following options are available:

·  If you would still like to support The Education Foundation, your ticket or sponsorship amount can be donated in full to support our mission of investing in the future of Alachua County Public School Students.

·  If you would like a refund for your ticket or sponsorship contribution, please let us know, and we will assist in making that happen.

We all share in this collective disappointment, but we believe that canceling the event was our best and safest course of action.

Thank You,

The Education Foundation of Alachua County
