2022-2023 After School Options
To new and returning Meridian Families:

Do you need a safe place for your student after school next year? Looking for exciting after school activities and sports?

Register today for after-school care to ensure that your student will have a spot in the fall. Students must re-enroll each year.

Below, you will find details for the following programs:
  • After School K-5 Full Time
  • After School K-5 Wednesday only
  • A la carte programs K-12
  • Waiters K-5
  • After School 6-12
  • Athletics 7-12

After School K – 5th:

Who: Primary students needing After School care

When: 3:30 pm (1 pm Wed) to 6 pm

How to register:

  1. Visit the Full Time/Extended Day page and follow instructions.
  2. A link on the page will direct you to MySchoolBucks to pay the $60 registration/processing fee.

Deadline: Registration ends July 11. After July 11, please email triplea@mwschool.org to be added to the waitlist.

After School K – 5th:

Who: Primary students who need After School care on Wednesdays only

When: 1 pm to 4 pm

How to register:

  1. Visit the Early Release Wednesday page and follow instructions.
  2. A link on the page will direct you to MySchoolBucks to pay the $60 registration/processing fee.

Deadline: Registration ends July 11. After July 11, please email triplea@mwschool.org to be added to the waitlist.

Arts/A la Carte Options (K – 12th)

Waiters (K – 5th)

Who: Primary students who have secondary siblings (6th – 12th).

What: Waiters gives K-5th graders a safe spot indoors to hang out until secondary dismissal, when their older siblings will meet them for combined dismissal.

This prevents the need to go through car line twice.

How to register:

  1. Visit the Waiters page and follow instructions.
  2. A link on the page will direct you to MySchoolBucks to pay the $25 annual commitment fee.

Who: Secondary students who cannot be picked up at dismissal, or for those who need a place to wait before or after their extracurricular activity.

When: 4:05 pm (1:30 pm Wed) to 5:45 pm

How to register:
  1. Visit the After School 6-12 page and follow instructions.
  2. A link on the page will direct you to MySchoolBucks to pay the $100 annual commitment fee.

Athletics 
7th – 12th grade students

Who: Students in 7th – 12th grade who want to participate in school sports!

Attend: Athletics Informational Meeting
  • Thursday, May 5, from 5:45 – 7:15 pm via ZOOM 
  • This meeting is for all new and returning student athletes and their parents/guardians
  • Find the agenda here

Registration runs:
  • May 4 – May 12 at 9 pm for ...
  • Summer Camps: Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball
  • Fall Competitive Sports: Cross Country, Swimming, Volleyball
  • Register on the athletics page starting May 4
