It’s that time of the year again, and tax filing season is upon us. HTrust would like to remind all trust beneficiaries that we will be issuing a 2020 K-1 to you, which will contain information that may need to be included in your own personal income tax return. We try our best to send you K-1s by March 15 of every year, but for those trusts that have investments in partnerships or other trusts, we are dependent on outside tax preparers to issue their own K-1s, which have to be then included in your own trust tax return. We will keep you informed on the status of your K-1s should there be a delay beyond March 15, 2021.
