Early voting began Saturday, March 7 and continues through this Saturday, March 14 at
nine sites

March 7 was the last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed. A voter can pick up his or her own vote-by-mail ballot or may designate in writing another person to pick up their ballot through Election Day. Voted mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. Election Day to be counted. To ensure timely receipt, it is currently recommend that mail ballots are returned in person at any open Early Voting Site or at the Elections Office, 981 NE 16th Street, Ocala.
Election Day is Tuesday, March 17 for the Presidential Preference Primary and City of Ocala Special Election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 122 voting locations in Marion County. Voters are required to cast a ballot in the precinct in which they reside and can lookup their voting location at
www.VoteMarion.Gov
. A current and valid photo and signature ID is required to vote.
Voters and election workers are reminded to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, like Coronavirus Disease by avoiding close contact with people who are sick; covering cough and sneeze; avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth; and washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Voters are also encouraged to bring their own sanitary items with them to the polls as desired. For more information:

and is updated every 10 minutes.
Local election results can be viewed at www.VoteMarion.Gov/ElectionResults. The first set of unofficial election results will be posted by 7:30 p.m. and updated every 15 minutes thereafter until all precincts are reported. Results are unofficial until the final Canvassing Board meets and certifies the election.
