Almost Ready to Launch! Rev. Dr. Cindy Bacon Hammer, Moderator

After much conversation, survey analysis, securing of funds, dedicated time, and professional guidance and design I am delighted to announce that the NACCC new and improved website is scheduled to launch later this month. The staff has been working closely with the O’Creative Marketing team to build a website that provides visitors with an appealing, easier, and more effective way to learn about the NACCC services, resources, history, and congregationalism. The web address will stay the same. Watch your email for the formal announcement of the upcoming LAUNCH DATE.

We Are Grateful For Their Work Rev. Arthur P. Ritter, Chair, Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is grateful to volunteers who serve with members of our Board and with our staff in many of the tasks of the NACCC. Over the past year, other individuals who served on these committees are Diane Sorensen & Robert Weers for Personnel and Administration. Gustave Goldshine & James Campbell for Building and Loan. Michael Glidden, Barry Szymanski & Dawn Carlson served on the Congregationalist Editorial Advisory team. Doug Loux & Jim Walsh, on Finance. Steve Russ, Dick Davis, Jim Walsh, & Varn Philbrook on the oversight committee for the Congregational Investment Trust. We thank these individuals for the gift of their time and talents. Their service is not only important to the responsibilities of the Board of Directors but also to the regular ministries of the NACCC. We are always seeking new members who have skills, background, or concern in the specific tasks of these groups. If you are interested, please contact me or any member of the Board of Directors.

Sandra Leonard Joins Board of Governors Varn Philbrook, Secretary, Congregational Foundation Board of Governors On behalf of your Congregational Foundation Board of Governors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra M. Leonard to our board. She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to us through various company positions she has held in management, customer service, and sales.    Sandra is a member of the Riverpoint Congregational Church in West Warwick, RI, and has served her Church as Deacon, Clerk, Treasurer, Sunday School teacher and Superintendent, Confirmation mentor, and event coordinator for her Church’s 150th Anniversary.   We are delighted to have Sandra on our team and ask that you join us in welcoming her to the Congregational Foundation and to your National Association of Congregational Christian Churches leadership family.
