The future is beholden to each new generation. So what better way to invest in our future, than to invest in tomorrow's leaders! The Barnabas Group ("TBG") is honored to come alongside Young Life, providing our partners with an opportunity to impact lives and change trajectories.
Young Life doesn't start with a program, it starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to engage them on their turf, and in their culture. Together we build bridges of authentic friendship, which lays the groundwork for true transformation.
The following update from Jay Panther (Young Life, OC) inspires with stories of the heart-warming impact that our partners are having through this prolific ministry:
"TBG partners are having a big impact on Young Life! Below are some of the ways that TBG partners are making an impact on future generation:
- Steve Esser has been my mentor for over a year now. He has been a true God send! He guides me in ministry, leadership, marriage, finances and much more.
- Steve Bray gave me great insight as we planned our first major benefit last February. He also provided N95 masks for my wife and I!
- Brian Prock helped me plug into a men's group that has become a second family.
- Tom Sylvester is a volunteer with our middle-school group, and has been since we first presented at Barnabas in 2017.
- Heather and Joshua Thomasec have volunteered with our 'young adults' group, and on our Committee. Joshua also took four boys to camp in the fall (pictured above), and is teaching one of them construction and mechanics. Heather planned the majority of our benefit last February (also pictured above).
- Many TBG partners have come alongside us financially."
