Coronavirus Protocol and Actions
As concerns about the coronavirus continue, please be assured that Bishop Chatard takes very seriously the health and welfare of all students, faculty and staff. Protocols are in place within our school to reduce the spread of disease and maintain the safest environment possible for your children. Throughout the school year, Bishop Chatard puts an emphasis on educating students about steps they can take to stay healthy and prevent the spread of viruses. Proactive measures are being taken to disinfect classrooms in response to concerns about the coronavirus. These measures will continue to be evaluated and revised as needed.

The Bishop Chatard administrative team is continuing to monitor this very fluid situation and is making decisions about school operations based on the most current information available. A Bishop Chatard webpage has been created as a resource for you to access Bishop Chatard documents and emails pertaining to this issue. The page will be updated as this situation progresses. Click the blue bar below to view this page.

To date, a decision has been made to cancel Bishop Chatard's Senior Grandparent Mass, Community Service Day and a Latin Club trip to Indiana University. Please note: as a result of the Community Service Day cancellation, both Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, will now be regular school days. Neither will have an early dismissal.

Bishop Chatard will continue to keep parents informed about decisions made that impact school activities, the school schedule and, of course, the health and safety of our school community.
